When you attend your tour, please bring the original versions of the following documents for us to review and sign off before you can proceed with renting a counselling room. This is to ensure that all required credentials and safety standards are met:

1. Qualifications
   We require a copy of your relevant professional qualifications, such as your degree or diploma in counselling, therapy, or any related field. This helps us ensure that you have the necessary education and training to provide services in a professional capacity.
    

2. Professional Insurance
   Proof of your professional indemnity insurance is required. This protects both you and your clients in the event of any disputes or claims related to your services.
    

3. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check
   A current, enhanced DBS certificate is necessary to confirm that you have passed a background check. This is essential for safeguarding both you and your clients, particularly if you work with vulnerable individuals.
    

4. Membership of a Governing Body
   We require confirmation of your membership with a professional governing body, such as the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), or another recognized body. This ensures that you are practicing according to industry standards and ethical guidelines.
    

5. Supervisor's Details
   If applicable, please provide the contact information of your clinical supervisor. We ask for this as part of our standard process to ensure that all necessary professional practices are in place.
